CGchips
What are CGchips?
When the husk around the coconut is not separated into coco fibre and CGpeat, but instead cut into pieces, coco chips are produced.
The coco chips are washed in clean water to achieve a material that can safely be used in growing materials with a low EC level (salt content).
Benefits of CGchips
Using CGchips as an additive in potting mixtures creates a growing medium with the ideal physical properties. The chips can absorb water and yet leave enough air available for sensitive plants such as gerberas and orchids.
CGchips Products
Coir Green™ (CG) produces husk chips in 500g bricks and 5kg blocks. We can produce blocks of 10kg, with a compression ration of 5:1, on request; however, the loadability for such products is compromised.
